Flying near uninvolved persons is permitted under the following conditions:

A3 Category:
Flying over or near uninvolved people is strictly prohibited.
A minimum distance of 150 meters must be maintained from uninvolved persons, buildings, industrial sites, and recreational areas.
This category applies to drones weighing between 4kg and 25kg, with a C3 or C4 class identification label.
The first UAS pilot certificate, certifies you for the A1 & A3 category,
that have the lowest calculated risk to safety. With these categories
you will be able to fly a small drone in the city or a heavier one in
rural areas.
The next step is the A2 category, which allows you to fly a bigger
drone that those defined in A1, in an urban environment with some
extra precautions.
NOTE: Make sure you know what you want to do (What drone and
where you want to fly) before you choose a certification package. If
you are not sure of what you want to do, a good technique is to just
start with the A1/A3 certificate, which is the basis for all other
certifications to come.

Unfortunately, no. The A1/A3 category is a prerequisite in order to proceed with the A2 subcategory.
This varies from student to student, as it depends on how much time they can dedicate. On average, our students complete the Οpen Category examinations within one week. The final issuance of the Certificates usually takes an additional week after the submission of the required documents to the Civil Aviation Authority.
The UAV operator certification is valid for 5 years. After this period, you must complete a refresher course to renew your certification.

Whether you are being examined in the A1/A3 subcategory or the A2 subcategory, you must achieve a 75% score on a multiple choice questionnaire to be considered successful.
For the A1/A3 subcategory, you have unlimited free attempts with no time restrictions between them.
For the A2 subcategory, you also have unlimited free attempts. However, each new attempt must be spaced at least 5 days after the previous one.
This ensures that you have adequate time to review and prepare effectively.
Once you have passed the exam and submitted the application form correctly, an email is sent to the Civil Aviation Authority. The authority officially states a processing time of 14 business days, although in many cases the process is completed sooner.

Mobile phones and tablets are not supported, as the proctoring system requires multiple device functions such as webcam, microphone, and stable screen sharing, which are only fully compatible with a desktop or laptop setup.
Make sure to use a reliable computer with a webcam and internet connection to avoid any issues during the exam.
You can start the training and also take the exams without having your UAS Operator Registration Number. However, you must obtain this number from the Civil Aviation Authority of your country of nationality before submitting the required files and personal information (documents) for your certification after passing the exam.
If you have purchased only the A2 package, it is assumed that you already possess a valid UAS Operator Registration Number.
If your country of nationality is a member of EASA, you can obtain your UAS Operator Registration Number directly from your national aviation authority. Simply select your country from the list at the link below, click on “Register as drone operator,” and follow the provided instructions:
